Working Area:     NWFP 

Vision:        To empower the disadvantaged Sections of the Society through promoting awareness and strengthening their capacities. 

Mission:     To develop capacity of the community activists so that they play an active role in their society as agents of change for empowerment of the disadvantaged sections of the Society and sustain the initiatives of participatory development. 

Objectives:  

·        To empower the disadvantaged sections of the society through awareness among community, intermediary and policy making level. 

·        To strengthen the capacity of partner CBOs and NGOs to manage and sustain the development initiatives. 

·        To eliminate poverty through capacity building and promotion of Micro Entrepreneurship.

Activities: 

-         Promotion of dialogue on critical issues among stakeholders i.e. Community and Government.

-         Providing training to community activists in the following fields: 

i.                    Peace, Disarmament and Tolerance.

ii.                  Elimination of violence against women with a focus on honor killing.

iii.                Child Rights and Integration of Children with disabilities.

iv.               Health Education.

v.                 Micro Entrepreneurship for women.

Networking: 

v                JAC (Joint Action Committee):         

JAC is a forum of Civil Society Organizations of the Province. It promotes Pluralism, Tolerance, Democratic norms and Good Governance through organizing dialogues on critical social, cultural, political and Economic issues of the country.  

v                NCCR: (NGOs Coalition on Child Rights)  (Secretariat RISE). 

NCCR (NGOs Coalition on Child Rights) is a Network of + 500 Community Based Organizations in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan. Its focus is on promotion and protection of Child Rights in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan.  

v  VAW FORUM:  

RISE is active member of a Forum of Civil Society and Government Organizations to eliminate Violence Against Women thorough capacity building of Community activists, facts findings and information sharing.
