Resigned from my first job as Assistant Professor
I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Islamic University of Technology from 13/12/2005-23/09/2006. One day onward from my birthday, I resigned to join my PhD in University of Southampton, UK from 2nd October. 2006.

My main task was teaching. Tried to promote a bit of research in small scale. I had the busiest time in my life organizing new courses like Signals and Systems, Random Signals and Processes and Advanced Communications Techniques. All these courses were offered for the first with our team efforts in the year earlier. I was one of the main mastermind to plan these courses. Still a lot to do with these courses. Also supervised few projects and they all lead to one or two papers each, which is good ! I have resigned mainly due to personal reasons. <More about working experience>

Conference Papers accepted in IEEE TENCON, IEEE COIN-NGN, APCC and ICECE 2006

Thanks God ! Our hard worked papers are now in place. The OFDM-RoF paper has been accepted in IEEE TENCON Hongkong, rural network model paper has been accepted in IEEE ComSoc COIN-NGN Korea, Rural Business Economic Model paper in Asia Pacific Conference in Korea and extended relationship among SNR, BER and EVM in ECECE BUET (Bangladesh) recently. <More on publications and research>

Joining my PhD after a long wait (InshAllah)

After a long wait of one year, hopefully I am going to join my PhD at University of Southampton. I will be accompanied by my wife and near-2-year old baby Raisa. Let's hope for a nice stay there !
