    At A Glance...

Many years ago, this woman arrived here in the city of New Orleans, seemingly with a purpose, that being to open her own fencing school and to settle in for a new life for herself and her daughter, Puerette. During that time she touched the lives of various individuals, some were made stronger for getting to know her, others wiser to the ways of the world and still others... well, that is their own story, tragic or otherwise.  She is quite unmistakable, once you pick her from a crowd, standing rather tall and confident of herself and her abilities. She made friends amongst her church group, which at the time met at the Our Lady of Victory church, located in the South Western area of the French Quarter. Those friends and her decided to invest in a house on the outskirts of town, a place where they can practice their various hobbies and discuss their philosophies away from the more secular eyes of society. But something happened while renovating that house, something that caused this solid, God-fearing woman to pack up her things and move away for a small time, to rest and collect her thoughts. During her absence, or perhaps because of it, the house was re-sold and her friends drifted away, perhaps for good with the destruction of their church, Our Lady of Victory, one of many victims to the storms that have been ravishing the area of late. The only faces that remain to greet her are Vincent Alistan and a few of her fencing students that still live in the area.

Now it would seem she's back and ready to pick up the pieces of what was obviously a shattered life. She is most often seen about the Saint Louis Cathedral, doing quite a bit of volunteer work. When she is not there or being mother to her daughter, she is also found holding off-day classes at the A.S.K. Karate school, which is owned and operated by the young Miss So'tsumi Zhoi, whom she also tends to spend some time with on the streets of New Orleans. Added to her growing list of associates, she has been seen in the company of Professor Abraham Rothchilde and Miss Salorea Ladnier; Miss Jennifer Sax, famous though retired radio personality and quite a few others. If one is up late enough, you may spot her having coffee at the Cafe du Monde with Matthew Flannagan, a recent arrival to the Big Easy. Another face she is commonly seen with is Miss Alex Maple, who works part time at The Learning Curve, located in the French Market.
