When I look into my back yard on these winter's nights, with Christmas fast approaching, this is some of what I see. Simple beauty; darkness, snow, and sparkling lights. Simplicity, yet the stuff of wonder. Add some music, and we can travel off to places so quickly. Distance is no challenge, time is no barrier. We can flash into last week, into next year, from your house to mine, away to a cabin in the woods, or to a secluded isle in the sun. Technology has a long way to go to match the speed of human thought and imagination. Consider a child's mind, still so very young, amazingly, can comprehend a world vast with reindeer, sleighs, and Santa, lands filled with love and excitement, and the positive belief that so many great things are yet to unfold. Some adults have this ability too... not many, mind you, but a few... Perhaps you're one of those special people? Imagine... Take a Chrismas stroll with me into this winter night, by the trees,and further. Hear the bells? Feel this cold, fresh Northern air? Hear the crunch of our feet on the snow? Ahh, yes... I think you are one of those special people... especially during the Christmas Season... Let me take you for a little tour through 2003 that begins last Christmas Day, and leads us back to now. .
