January 2003 was slow, Gramma Ritchie came to visit for a few days to take care of me, and while I made a slow recovery, she and Connie kept the home fires burning, playing rummy, and doing a bit of shopping around Timmins.

Sometimes, even a drop or two of Irist Mist before dinner.

Laura dropped by in February for her annual "Let's change this house!!!" nest-building activity... She loves the Trading Spaces tv show, and can't wait to rebuild a room. She had given us a two sets of Brass faucets for Christmas, and was now gearwed up for more. February was 'Bathroom time'. We had installed some new cabinet doors, which was Laura's cue to get movin'.

Here's the results of her work, just before finishing up the frame of the closet.

By March, I was feeling better, and able to move around more or less on my own, making a trip to Kingston reasonable. We wanted to be with Laura for her Iron Ring Ceremony. To be truthful, only engineers attend those things.. and Laura had arranged for Unca Brian to present her with the ring. Ben, also an engineer, attended and presented a ring to one of Laura's friends.

Here's one picture, now, and you can see more by clicking this link.
