Emaeliass
Emaeliass happily nuzzled the large green, "Huiyoiss, I'll race you!"

"Emaeliass!" Huiyoiss shouted happily as he raced after the blue.
M'riu laughed as he watched his green speed after the young blue, "She certainly has grown since she got here."
G'riu nodded and smiled, "She's perked all of us oldtimers up. I forgot what it was like to have a hatchling about."
"Dasria and her purple will be transferring here soon," M'riu sighed.
"And Nareth and Fivta," G'riu sighed.
  "Yeah," M'riu sighed.
"I forgot to ask, but why did it take you so long to get back from Agendor after you dropped Fivta off?" G'riu asked, grinning slyly.
M'riu grinned at his father and shook his head, "That's for me to know, and you to find out."

"M'riu, come on!" Huiyoiss exclaimed. "The water's great!"

"Yeah, M'riu! Come play with us!" Emaeliass cried.
M'riu laughed as the two sea dragons butted against each other lovingly. Huiyoiss had gotten quite attached to the young sea dragon. M'riu even swore that they had mated once or twice already even though Huiyoiss said they hadn't.
Emaeliass crooned as the young Dragoneer waved them away, "It's all right. You guys go have fun!"
She and Huiyoiss swam out into the bay. The green butted lightly against the blue sea dragon as she lazily circled.

"Huiyoiss," Emaeliass sighed, "I'm going back to Lathis."

"What for?!" Huiyoiss exclaimed. "They treated you awful there!"

"Yeah, but I'd like to bond, and there was a dragon in the clutch from which I hatched who bonded to one of the hatchling," Emaeliass sighed. "I'd like to try."

"But Emaeliass..." Huiyoiss sighed, "what about us?"

"There is no US, Huiyoiss," Emaeliass sighed. "It was fun for awhile, but you're going to be fighting for Fivta's bond soon, and I'm just going to be in the way."

"Emaeliass..." Huiyoiss sighed, but she was already swimming away, back in the direction of Lathis Cove.

"Emaeliass!!!" The Covelord Diasc shrieked when he saw the figure out the blue sea dragon approaching. "It's Emaeliass. She's not dead!"

"Who said I was dead?" Emaeliass asked as she slid up on the beach.

"We just assumed," The Covelord's red Ildoniss said, turning to Emaeliass. "You simply disappeared one day."

"I almost died," Emaeliass sighed, "but the Cove Transport from Rip Tide saved me."
"Rip Tide, eh?" Diasc asked. "I'll have to thank them. I was worried. Almost as much as Taelenn."

"Well, I'm back so you can stop worrying," Emaeliass sighed. "I'm here to try and bond."
Diasc grinned, "Well, you're in luck. There's just been another clutch laid on the beaches, and we need three bonders. You'll be our first."
  Emaeliass sighed,
"You guys were so mean to me when I was younger. How come you're being so nice now?"

"We weren't mean to you," Ildoniss sighed. "You were mean to us!"
Emaeliass ducked down into the water and piered up at Ildoniss,
"I was, wasn't I. I'm sorry."
"It's all right, Emaeliass," Diasc laughed as he caressed the blue's muzzle. "Now, let's get you introduced to the clutch parents."

Emaeliass rested in the waters near the beach as the bonders gathered around her. She had gotten use to the humans being around her. She wasn't bitter anymore and really wanted to find those who had been part of her clutch and apologize for her behavior.

"Emaeliass," She heard the familiar voice of Huiyoiss.
She turned and greeted the green with a friendly nudge,
"So, is M'riu with you, or did you come on your own accord?"

"M'riu doesn't know I'm here," Huiyoiss sighed.

"What?!" Emaeliass exclaimed. "You didn't tell him where you were going? He's probably worried to death!"

"It doesn't matter!" Huiyoiss exclaimed. "I have to talk to you."

"Forget it, Huiyoiss," Emaeliass sighed. "I'm bonding, and that's final."

"I understand," Huiyoiss sighed. "I was stupid before. I know M'riu is going to have me fight for Fivta's bond, but I will always be with you."

"Yoiss..." Emaeliass sighed. "It may not always be like that, but it's nice to know you're here for me now."
With that, the blue and green curled up together and fell asleep watching the sunset.
