Eryan
Eryan paced up and down in front of the Medics' Dorm. His sister, Erin, was deathly ill, and he wasn't sure how much longer the Medics could keep her alive.
"ERY!" A scream echoed from inside the dorm. "Eryan, get them away from me!"
"What are you doing to her?!" Eryan screamed as he bursted into the room.
"Nothing," The Medics sighed as they tried to hold Erin on the bed.
"MOVE!!" Eryan screamed, pushing each Medic away from Erin. "Erin, sweety, it's all right," He sighed as he hugged her close. "Please, dear. Calm down."
Erin's body untensed and laided limp in Eryan's arms. Afraid that she might be dead, Eryan laided her carefully on the bed, but her eyes were wide.
"Ery, my brother," She sighed, as she wipped away the tears that had flooded out of his eyes. "Why do you cry? I'm fine now that you're here."
Eryan shook his head and kissed his sister gently on the cheek as she placed her hand on his cheek.
"I'm going to be fine, Eryan," Erin sighed. "I'll be fine."
"Of course you will, Erin," Eryan sighed. "Of course you will."

Erin died that night, but at least, Eryan felt better about being about to talk to his sister one last time before she went. He had started to gather what remained of her things from the Medics' Dorm when the Caerlord came in behind him.
  "Eryan?" Casero sighed.
"What?" Eryan barked. "What do you want?"
"You're not leaving the Caer, are you?" Casero asked.
"Erin's gone," Eryan sighed. "She's the one who wanted to move here. I'm going back to the House."
"Eryan," Casero sighed when he felt Teranoma's hand rest on his shoulder.
"Don't go," Tera sighed, moving towards Eryan. "We need you here."
"How could you need me?!" Eryan hissed, whipping around to face Tera and Casero, tears streaking his face. "I don't have a dragon, and I'm not working in the kitchen so how could you need me?!"
Tera moved to comfort Eryan, but he turned back to what he had been doing, pulling in towards himself.
"Eryan, we've been talking about that," Casero sighed. "We had decided to send you to bond as soon as you could."
"As soon as Erin was out of the picture, right?" Eryan hissed. "You people just thought of her as a burden."
Tera grasped Eryan's shoulder and pulled him to face her, "I was in here whenever you weren't able!" Tera shouted, tears welling up in her eyes. "I took care of her as much as you did. She may have been your sister, but if you've forgotten, Erin and I were friends for a long time before I was bond searched. I loved her just as much as you did so don't you dare say I thought of her as a burden!!!"
Eryan gapped at Tera as she turned back to Casero, who welcomed her into his arms, comforting her as best as he could, "Xeirth's waiting for you, but if you want to go back to the House, go ahead."
Casero sighed and escourted Tera out of the Medics' Dorm as Eryan looked down at his sister's things. He sighed as he laid her stuff back out. He grinned a bit when he picked up one of her shirts. If only she had held one just a little bit longer, maybe they could have figured out what to do to help her.
He sighed as he started out to where the Transport dragon waited. He might as well bond. Erin would have wanted it that way.

Xeirth landed slugishly and waddled over to a large Caerlet as V'lok motioned for Eryan to go and find the Caerlady. Turning to the Caer in which Xeirth had stopped, he noticed that something had to be wrong. There was too much land here. On most Alskyran Islands, you could see water on the horizon either way you looked, but here it was nothing but land as far as the eye could see.
A woman walked over and greeted him as he glanced about in awe, "Hello, are you Eyran? V'lok has informed me that you wish to Im...bond."
"Yes, ma'am, I do," Eryan sighed, still squinting out at the horizon. "Is there any water out there?"
"Way out there, yes," The woman laughed. "I'm sure you're not use to being unable to see water."
Eryan nodded as the women put a hand on his shoulder, "I'll explain everything to you while Xeirth recoporates."

Eryan wasn't completely there during the hatching. He was still thinking about Erin, and how much he wished her to be alive and well again. Suddenly, he heard a whispering voice in his head.

Eryan, you have your wish. I have returned to you, though that was quite a strange trip.

Eryan jerked his head up and spotted a young green making her way across the sands, snobbing every girl who get in her way.
“Erinth...” he said, all but purring as the lovely green leaped into his arms.

Back in your arms on my rebirth just as I was at my death, Erinth crooned, nuzzling Eryan.
