Olika smiled up at her Iris as the Dragoness curled her large tail around Olika. She had been first to hatch during the Halloween Clutch, and Olika knew that that was a sign of exactly how strong she was. I am strong, Iris sighed, and I am different. Many of the others have asked me why my name is such. Olika smiled, "Ignore them. They're just jealous that you are the strongest and most beautiful dragon at Morning Star." I don't know, Olika. There were some strong dragons at that hatching, Iris sighed. "You were first there and first here," Olika sighed as her cat Gandoff santer over to her and perked into the caldron she had going. "And what, praytell, is this?" Gandoff asked. "You're not doing summoning spells anymore since you got Orion back so what's this?" "A transport spell," Olika sighed. "Transport, but you have all the transport you need with that big lug behind you," Gandoff sighed. Iris glared at the cat, Can I eat him, Olika? Can I? "No, dearest, not yet," Olika sneered at Gandoff as she stroked the Spectral dragon's muzzle. "All right, all right, I'll behave," Gandoff sighed. "Stupid dragon," He muttered under his breathe. What was that, cat? Iris growled. "Nothing, nothing," Gandoff sighed as he hopped off the table and santered out into the hall. "I'll be right...back!" He screamed as Ceran dashed after him. Iris and Olika giggled as they turned back to their work. *** It was cold. That was the first thing Olika noticed. Iris hadn't done anything, Olika hadn't told her to. Iris rumbled as she landed on a small plot of land. "Where are we?" She sighed. Olika blinked her eyes. Iris had just spoken outloud. Olika had never heard her do that before. "Iris, love?" Olika sighed. "I know. What's going on?" Iris sighed. "Hello!" Someone called. "Hello! Are you lost?" "Yes, we are!" Olika shouted back. "The Caer is just north of here! I can take you there if you want," The voice called again. "All right," Olika sighed. *** As they arrived at the Caer, Olika was amazed. It sort of looked like her home, but still had small differences. |
