Orion gasped as he awoke, for fear that he had disappeared again. Rider mine, be calm. You are still here as am I, and if you did disappear, I would follow you and bring you back, Oiharauth sighed. Orion smiled up at his Blackest Brown dragon who, in the dark, seemed as if he was starting to disappear, but he hadn't, and he wouldn't. Oiharauth had assured Orion that he was going to stay by his side always. Orion got out of his bed and glanced out the window to see Olika and Iris landing in the yard of The Protectorate. Oiharauth bulged happily as he glided down to greet the Spectral colored. They rubbed noses affectionally like felines do as Olika and Orion greeted each other in their own manner. "Oiharauth has certainly gotten big," Olika sighed. "Nearly the size of a normal brown," Orion sighed. "Or so I believe." Olika kissed Orion gently on the cheek, "It doesn't matter." Iris sighed as she and Oiharauth twined necks affectionally. Olika laughed at her Spectral beauty as the Blackest Brown male swatted her with his tail. Orion laughed as well, but not at the pair, but at the comment Oiharauth had made. |
She is beautiful, but she is hurting me! Oiharauth cried, trying to pull his neck away from Iris's. Iris, dearest, Olika thought as Orion whispered in her ear. Sorry, Oiharauth, I didn't mean to, Iris sighed as she untwined her neck. I know, Oiharauth sighed, butting Iris lovingly. The two dragons had almost as much affection for each other as their riders had for each other. The two dragons glided off to find a place to be alone as their riders went to do the same. *** In the mist of a dream, Orion glanced about him. Nothing seemed right. It looked like he was shifting again, but this time, he wasn't scared. His Oiharauth was right by his side as they wandered about in the mist. Suddenly, he tripped and began to fall. Gasping he shot up. It was dark, and he couldn't see anything. He could hear the breathing of his Blackest Brown echo in the night. He stood and walked towards where his table should have been, but he found nothing. Oiharauth crooned softly as perked up his head. "What is it, Orion?" Oiharauth asked. Orion gasped at hearing the voice of his brown echo outside his mind. |
