Search and Rescue Team |
Luvina was a young dancer before she moved to Wild River Caer. She was a member of a traveling band of singers and dancers. Her only dream from the day they performed for a group of Dragoneers was to one day join their ranks. Now that she's moved to Wild River, she is one step closer to her dream. She's going to work with one of the younger dragons until she is bond searched. Her formation partener is Quibaz. *** Quibaz was a member of a rogue group of theives before he moved to Wild River Caer. Quibaz sometimes still finds himself knicking things from people's purses or pockets, but more or less, he's cured himself of that problem. |

Quibaz doesn't really have any great desire to become a Dragoneer, but he has agreed to work with the Search and Rescue Team anyway. |
Both Quibaz and Luvina are seconds to Tia and Venral, Heads of the S and R Team. They will both soon have their own bonds and be allowed to chose their successors as the riders of Vissa and Jumar, the riderless dragon to dragon bonded pair of the S and R Team. *** "Qui!" Luvina exclaimed, banging on the young man's Caerlet door. "We have to be at patterns in fifteen minutes!" "Luv," Quibaz groaned as his white Caerlizard, Kira, crooned, "could you NOT bang on the door so loudly. I'm trying to sleep." "QUI!" Luvina exclaimed, throwing herself against the door. "GET UP, YOU LAZY BUM!" "All right. All right," Quibaz sighed, throwing open the door. Luvina tumbled backwards onto the floor. Quibaz stared down at her, smirking. She glared at him as he smiled, "Are you going to help me up or not?" "Uhhhhhh...No," Quibaz said, stepping over Luvina as his Kira landed on her forehead. |
"Kira," Luvina groaned, picking her off her head. "Quibaz, wait for me!" Luvina picked herself up, placing Kira on her shoulder and raced after Quibaz. He laughed as Kira shrieked and leaped off of Luvina's shoulder and zipped over and landed on his head. "I'm sorry, love," Quibaz sighed, stroking the white. "She's silly, I know." Luvina glared at him as he smirked at her. Kira chirped happily as she hopped from |
Quibaz's head down onto his shoulder. Luvina grinned as the white turned and stared at her, chirping every once and awhile when she fell behind Quibaz's pace. "Come on, Luv," Quibaz laughed as he rushed to the door. "We have patterns in fifteen minutes!" *** "So good of you two to join us," V'lok sighed. "Jumar, Vissa, they finally arrived." The two adult dragons lumbered out into view. They crooned a greeting to the pairs as the spread their wings, preparing for their training. I don't know why we still have to do this, Jumar crooned. We know all the patterns. "But we don't," Quibaz sighed, patting Jumar's muzzle. You'll just have to learn them again, Vissa sighed. We you bond, you'll have to come back and learn them with your dragons. "I know, love," Luvina sighed, patting Vissa. "I'll miss flying with you though." I know. That's what Tia said, too, Vissa sighed, rubbing her muzzle into Luvina's hand. I'll miss everyone they bring in to fly with me, but Jumar is my bond, and he'll always be here for me. The two dragon nuzzled each other as Luvina and Quibaz tied their riding straps. V'lok deboarded Xeirth in order to help the pair load the equipment that they would normally carry during an actual rescue. Luvina slung the sack of medical supplies across Vissa's back and tied it to the riding straps. Quibaz tied the extra ropes to Jumar's riding straps and boarded him, careful not to dislodge anything. "Ready, Jumar?" Quibaz asked. Yep, Jumar said, taking off into the air. *** Quibaz was relaxing with Kira when the Caerlady strolled into his Caerlet, "Quibaz, we've found you a place to bond." "Will Luvina be going with me?" Quibaz asked. "No, she'll be going somewhere else," Tera sighed. "You'll be going to Caer Brynmor. Now, pack you're bags." *** Casero walked into Luvina's Caerlet, "Hey, Luv, guess what?!" Casero exclaimed. "What?" Luvina laughed. "You're finally going to get to bond," Casero said. "Really? Where?!" Luvina exclaimed, leaping out of her chair. "Well, actually," Casero smiled the smile he did when he was hiding something. "You'll see." Luvina pouted, "But I want to know now!" "You'll see. You'll see," He kept saying as he walked out of the Caerlet. She smirked after him. She loved his sense of humor. Continue... |
