Blue Picot Scrunchy

Yvi (Yvonne) is my niece by marriage, daughter of my husband's sister, Noemi.
They live in the state of New York. :o)

Materials:
Blue worsted weight yarn (a few yards)
elastic pony tail holder
tapestry needle
Any glue that's okay to wash, such as Okay to Wash ;-D

Round One-  Tie yarn to pony tail holder.  Yarn over hook, put hook under your elastic, yarn over hook, pull up and complete a single crochet, chain 3. Work: single crochet, chain 3 all around, the more the better. Finish with a slip stitch in first single crochet.

Round Two-  Slip stitch once to the chain three space, chain 3 (counts as your first double crochet), double crochet in same space, chain 3, slip stitch in 3rd chain from hook (picot made), 2 double crochet in same space.  Work in each chain-3 space the following: 2 double crochet, picot, 2 double crochet.  Finish by making a slip stitch in the third begining chain.  Weave in all the ends with the tapestry needle.

I like making knots and glueing them so they don't show up when you least expect them.... They have a habit of doing that. *smile*

I love Jesus!
