River Rapids Cyber Adoption
Welcome to River Rapids! My name is Tori, and I'm the human being who runs things here. I drew all the graphics and made all the pages. I don't bite but I don't hug either. Just so we know where we stand, understand that I'm no one's enemy, and I'm no one's pal. April is the spokescat and coowner. She is a mixed semi-longhaired charmer who was born on a farm in late April 1994. She's always sociable and willing to forgive--actually she's a bit of an airhead. (If you have trouble navigating, remember that anything underlined is a link.)
River Rapids opened February 8, 1999 with just one, badly-drawn cat breed and has grown to now contain a large cattery, a modest rattery, and a retired Greyhound rescue. The creatures within this site are cyber pets that "live" on web pages--if you want to be technical, they're graphics, eye-candy. :) They are not real animals or related to the Petz series or any online game or software.
