January 31, 2006 I just simply wanted to say that I'm not only glad that I had the opportunity to know such a man, but I was also blessed....From the first time I met him he was my Dawlin'...He was very special in his own way...and through his rough exterior, his heart was soft and caring for those around him....He would light up when showing off his beautiful garden of flowers....now he'll have a beautiful garden of flowers forever to tend to...I know he's looking down at us and smiling because he now has sunshine forever....The Lord has taken his child back home again to continue his work from above....You will be missed much Dawlin'....Love, Brenda brenda petersen (worcester, MA )

February 25, 2006 To all family members of "Uncle Jimmie" I send out my deepest sympathy. I just yesterday found out about his passing although I knew that he had been very ill. As some of the family know we lost Vikki in October. It has been such a hard loss for me as she was the only family from my side down here. She had pancreatic cancer and surgery the week before Katrina hit. I was with here throughout the storm and did not know the fate of our home or my husband for at least a week. Vikki was very ill during all that time and only left for two days to come to my home when we got electricity as her home had flooded. She returned with fever and that was Sept. 19th and was there until her passing. I remember a lot of you from the trip Vikki and I took to see Dad (Harry) and bring him to Grandma Hilliard's funeral. I will never forget finally getting to see so many of you then. I know dad does not stay in touch with many of you but his heart is there and he is hurting from all the losses also. I spoke with him last night. I talked to Vikki's husband the other day and he received some photos of us as children and family members from someone in Worcester but he had no idea who they were from. I assumed at that time that it was from one of ya'll. He/we appreciate your thinking of her/us and sending the photos. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. If any of you have email feel free to stay in touch just identify yourself on the subject line so I won't delete it. Love Margaret Wagner Margaret Wagner (Slidell, LA ) maggiewa@bellsouth.net
