“Sangeet Drishya Vibhavari”
Dedicated to the Holy Trinity by Satkala Vahini, Kakinada
The Satkalavahini Troupe from Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh) presented "Sangeeta Drisya Vibhavari" in the form of "Sarva Devata Darsanam" i.e. Darshan of all major Gods and Goddesses of Hindu Pantheon. This programme was highly appreciated by one and all.
An Introduction
Satkalavahini, established in 1978 by Smt. E. Srinivasamma, wife of Shri E.Appalacharyulu, disciple of Shri Sangamaeswara Sastry, is a devotional music institute propagating “Oneness of Mankind, Oneness of Religion and Oneness of God”. The association consists of local members with some status and local standings. The members with their own initiative could mobilize funds for the construction of Satya Bhaskara Kalamandiram at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
Stkalavahini is engaged in organizing Spiritual Discourses, singing prayers of all religions in different languages, performing music and dance ballets on saints Tyagaraja, Annamayya and Ramdas, and on National leaders through Bhratanjali etc. Their main activities are training children and youth in classical music and songs on national integration in Telugu and other languages and conducting yearly cultural programme involving Music, Cultural and Devotional Associations of all religions.
