| Reisjärvi, (actually we live in Räisälänmäki a little suburb of Reisjärvi if you can imagine such a place!), is so small it is hard to find on most maps. It is somewhere around the area indicated on the map, in the middle of Finland farm country. If one decides to go for a little afternoon stroll, they must always be on the lookout, not for cars, but for tractors and possible loose cows... One must drive about 8 K to get the nearest town and about 30 K to get to a town with any sort of civilization! A big change for a bunch of city girls! |
