IDENTIFYING FEATURES:
* readily seen on Lord Howe Island on the lower sections of the track to Goat House Cave (growing with C. macarthuri) at the base of Mt Lidgbird
* crown & stipe bases covered in long brown scales or silvery scales with brown tips, grading to shorter silvery scales on crozier ... stipes with a powdery light blue coating
* pinnules tend to be rather small and crowded
* margins of fertile pinnules reflexed around the sori |
