Attending the above offices wearing my other hat (for the launch of an educational resource for those working with Same Sex Attracted Young People) I was pleasantly surprised to find a fairly impressive collection of treeferns planted around the main southern entrance. However, once inside, a most spectacular enclosed atrium (on the left just past the main desk or via the west entrance) revealed even more treeferns planted in a magnificent tropical indoor garden, complete with some quite large palms and featuring two rather beautiful ‘curtains’ of water.

     Treeferns identified included
Cyathea australis
C. brownii
C. cooperi
C. cunninghamii
C. leichhardtiana
C. medullaris
C. tomentosissima and
Dicksonia antarctica.

The offices are on the Burwood Highway, about 25 km east of Melbourne (Mel. 64 A12), on the north side of the highway (left side travelling from Melbourne) about a kilometre past Knox shopping centre.
