| This unit plan is designed to help students understand what it is like to be different from main stream society. Through these lessons, students will develop their skills in analysis, interpretation, synthesis, application, drawing connections, reading, writing, performing, listenening comprehension, their understanding of literary elements and devices, as well as all forms of communication. Students will develop empathy others and use their creative minds to develop film projects. This unit utilizes multiple literacies, technologies, and components of Standard English convention.
