Tier
6 & 7 Meet the Mayor
|
The
London Synchro Club captured its first ever top
prize at the Espoir National Championships which
took place in Edmonton, this past June.
The Tier 6, 16 and over team with 8 team members,
coached by club Head Coach, Lindsay Duncan, won
the highest honour of First Place in Team Competition
in Canadian competitive synchronized swimming.
London
Synchro Duet partners, Emily Doran and Vanessa Smith,
coached by Leah Vusich also won first place in the
16 and over Duet finals.
Both
Tier 6 teams took a trip to city hall recently to
meet with the Mayor, Anne Marie DeCicco-Best. It
was a proud moment for the London Synchro Club!
Held annually, the Espoir Synchro Nationals is the
most elite competition among junior-level synchronized
swimmers nationally. "Tier 6" is the second
highest level of synchronized swimming in the country.
As you can see below-right, the London Synchro Club
