Wife: (1) Bethena Hopkins, daughter of Elisha Hopkins, married 7 Feb., 1856. He was 23 and she 17. (2) Hannah Coleman, married in 1873 on Marrowbone Creek by James A. Justice. She died May 1902. Widow: Polly Robinson Adkins, married November 5, 1903, at Millard; Ezekial Prator and Mose Adkins were witnesses children: Living as of May, 1898: Hawkins B: Nov 14, 1872; James Epperson B: March 31, 1874; Eveline B: 1878; Moses B: Feb 12, 1880; Louisa B: March 12, 1884. Parents: Henry and Elizabeth Thacker married in 1826. [Winston Adkins married Hannah Coleman in 1828. Hannah was an older sister of Denny Coleman].
