Biography

William Weddington was born in Pike County on July 10, 1842. He was a son of John T. Weddington and Hannah Meade. On February 6, 1866, he married in that county to Elizabeth Reynolds, a daughter of John H. Reynolds. They were the parents of four children, viz: Ballard, Mintie, Ennora and John M. After the war William engaged in farming and lumbering.
