Day 3

Too darn tired.

We headed up the trail at 6AM hoping to climb Otis and Taylor Peaks. About two hours into the climb we both realized we'd overdone it on our first two days and had nothing left in our legs. We'd been to Flattop and Hallett before, so for the first time I can remember, we turned back from a hike.

We made it too the Emerald Lake overlook, took a break and decided to head back down.

Instead of wasting the entire day we decided to be tourists and took a ride up Trail Ridge Road. Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous highway in North America.
