At the diner, Hugh catches Marcie writing about him.

They begin to spar playfully when Marcie refuses to let him see what she has written.

Unaware that Marcie is writing about him, Hugh can’t believe what a “Jackass” the person she is writing about is.

Hugh is stunned, and a little hurt, when he realizes that he's the "Jackass."

But he can't be upset with her for too long, because, well, he finds her adorable.
