Bob's
Background:
Bob received his B. S. degree in physics from Ohio State University
and his M. S. and Ph. D. degrees in physics from Case Institute
of Technology (now Case Western Reserve University). He took an
early retirement from NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center
in 1981, after working 23 years in the areas of ionic propulsion,
space plasma physics, and interactive computing. He retired from
the Huntsville Research Operations of the Georgia Tech Research
Institute (GTRI) in 1993, and is currently on the GTRI roster
in a part-time-as-needed capacity. Tommie and he are widow and
widower, respectively, and were married in 1995. He has two children
and seven grandchildren, four of whom are within roller-blading
distance. She has three children and two step-grandchildren.
