As Wolfram and Hart became more involved in Angel's business, so did the young, hotshot attorney Lindsey. Lindsey was a bad guy more often then a good one, but he did on occasion work with Angel instead of against him. But when Angel chopped off his had to get that scroll, yikeey wah-yah! That had to hurt dude! And his fake hand was awful. The evil hand was a definite upgrade.
