My name is Robert if you hadn't already figured that out. I was born Howard Chalker on the 10th of April 1965 in a home for unmarried mothers in Grey Lynn Auckland New Zealand. From there I was taken to National womens hospital for the next six months, due to being six weeks premature. My mother was not to see me again. After being taken from her, I was then place in welfare care and given to a baby shuffler who looked or let me stay with her till Don and Lynn Peebles sighted me and informed members of their family about a toddler up for adoption. Guy and Judith Buxton had already adopted three children unable to have their own. Guy loved children and once he saw Howard, made application to the courts to have him placed in their care. After six months of their caring for Howard they applied and were successful in the adoption of Howard and had his name changed, To Robert Paul Buxton. Now a member of the family. Guy was born in Nottingham and along with his brother and parents had moved a few years earlier to New Zealand to start a new life.
Judith Locally born, from a long line of settlers of the land. The other children in the family were Tracey, also adopted when she was a toddler now the eldest. Peter and Glenys were babies, Peter now second Glenys younger than Robert but now the youngest was also a baby and had been with the Buxtons for a few years.
Many things were to happen between then and now.. Im 42. Ive put many of my memories here and things that Ive done... currently Im working on a family tree for my adopted family, guy and his parent have since died and Judith remarried. I have moved from New Zealand to Sydney, were Ive started a new life and have little contact with my family.. but we will come to all that in due time

Have been running a cafe In the Blue Mountains for my flatmate for almost two years, his mother has been living with us for almost two years, Ive been back to NZ twice, about to head back to see my family 1st time in 3 years.. Im still single and don't mind it in the least...
Spent alot of time on the family tree, and well,. its very big now... Will soon add pictures and more links It all takes so much time and alot of communication all over the world, I spent just over a thousand getting research done for me in England... She was ok, but seemed to die out in the end... Mostly other family members have helped and without family, its almost impossible... So thanks to Ann Deas. David Way, well I won't carry on there are so many. A great site to find Scotish family history is Scotlandspeople.gov.uk but anyway thanks to everyone who has helped and if you haven't .... you should send a copy of your tree to be added to the Great names already there (you know who you are)?a very distant cousin
