Test

Swede, O'Reilly, Robert, and Sean in Sean's office. They're laughing and making a lot of noise. Sean quiets them down....

Sean: Alright, alright, alright! What I have here is a secret mission- a top secret mission. Two agents to go into and out of a hotel in the South of France to rescue one of our top diplomats who's being held hostage by the DVX without getting caught. Without anyone getting hurt.

Robert: Sounds right up O'Reilly's and my alley.

Sean: Not this time mate. I'm breaking up the team.

Robert: What?

O'Reilly: Sean, you can't do that!

Sean: It's already been done O'Reilly. The Swede has to be under your tutelage for a while.

Swede: I've heard all about you ma'am. I'm looking forward to working with you. (he extends his hand to her)

O'Reilly: Ma'am?! (to Robert) Stop laughing, sonny. (to Sean) Sean, listen. I can't work with anybody who calls me ma'am.

Robert (to Swede) If you play your cards right kid, you can call her mum. (he laughs)

O'Reilly (to Robert) I've had enough out of sonny. I can still toss you over my shoulder with a hand tied behind my back. (she punches his stomach and Robert grimaces)

Sean: Alright, alright. Cool it, will you? Now pay attention. (to Robert) O'Reilly and the Swede will play your backup team when you and your new partner come out of the hotel after rescuing the diplomat. Now he's due at a press conference that the enemies are trying to sabotage. You got that?

Robert: I've got it alright. Just when do I meet this new hot shot partner of mine... (just then, Anna walks in)

Anna: Why don't you just turn around and find out Mr. Scorpio. (they face each other and the sparks fly)

Sean: Robert Scorpio meet Anna Devane. (the two stare at each other while Sean's talking)

Anna (approaches Robert) How do you do? (Robert stares at her in silence) Well, it's charming to meet you too.

Robert: Uh, no offense. No offense, I'd just rather be working with O'Reilly.

Sean: Alright, let's gather around and grab some chairs, go over what we have. (Robert sits and Anna stands over him. He grows uncomfortable with her hovering over him so he keeps looking over his shoulder at her). Here are the floor plans of the hotel where the diplomat is being held. Oh, by the way, the entire hotel is completely taken over by DVX personnel. It's your job to figure out a way in and a way out. (Robert gets up out of the chair and Anna quickly takes it, all the while smiling. He stands behind her and points to her)

Robert: This isn't gonna work, Sean, you putting me with Ms. Devine.

Anna (looks up at him, amused): Devane, please.

Sean: Robert, I made a decision. The subject is closed, alright?

Anna (still smiling): Alright then, good.

Robert (laughs sarcastically) On top of all this she's an optimist. (to Anna) I trust you have a plan already?

Anna: Well, no but I trust we'll think of something.

Robert: I'll think of something.

Sean: Good. That's what I love to see. Total cooperation. Alright, you two are on your own. No contact with the WSB. Good hunting. Good luck. O'Reilly, Swede, come with me. (they leave with Sean, and Robert and Anna stay behind glaring at each other. Robert walks closer to her)

Robert: Well, what's it gonna be. Friends or enemies?

Anna: (smiles) I think that's entirely up to you.

Robert: Let's get one thing straight. I'm the boss.

Anna: (laughs) Oh, yes, yes. (she pretends to be serious, then lets out a small giggle) That's exactly what I'd expect from an Australian and a terrible accent too. (she clears her throat)

Robert: Better than the sound of some winging palm.

Anna: (looks insulted) Ooh. Touche.

Robert: We're in for one tough bloody caper... mate. (he walks out of the room as Anna looks on laughing)
