Along with our own Canadian Thanksgiving in early October, we always celebrate American Thanksgiving towards the end of November. This year we were a week early because that was when Donald and his family could join us. |

The "guest of honour" just out of the oven. Note the special "pop up timer"; this is an American turkey that we smuggled from the U.S.A. It is perfectly legal to bring groceries into Canada, but it is more fun (an traditional) to think of it as smuggling. |
