Waves on the Shore
Across blue oceans, far away
Beyond, in distant lands
The sea, its' crested waves
Skim over, golden sands

Rippling along, sandy shore
Surf rolling, on empty beach
With each tide, it surges
Its' goal, it tries to reach

Across flattened plains
Sands of time blow
Shadows in the moonlight
Receding tides flow

Engulfing, golden beaches
Hiding footprints, earlier seen
Where earlier, children played
Great castles, had once been
