I live with my family on a farm in the Municipal District of Rocky View. We are about a half hour drive northeast of Calgary.

My grandparents started our farm 100 years ago after moving here from Sweden via Minnesota. Both of my parents still live here.

Jaclyn, who was born in 1980, lives in Standard, Alberta and is married to Jason Gauthier who works for Husky. Their daughter Jocelyn Pearl was born on December 18, 2005 and their son Kaden Lee on November 5, 2007.

Kai, who was born in 1983, is a Journeyman Welder at Chamco Industries Ltd. He lives in Calgary and is married to Michelle.

I am Secretary-Manager for the Alberta Sheep Breeders' Association and Treasurer for Pioneer Acres Museum. I have been a member of the Agriculture & Food Council since June 2002 and am currently the Chair.

Kai started raising sheep as a 4-H project 13 years ago. We now have 200 ewes and 8 rams. There are also 3 llamas on the farm to guard the sheep from predators.
