This is our koi pond at home, it was built around February, 2001. This was built entirely without any research about koi pond. It has no bottom drains, with only 1 small filter box at the top of the waterfall, we later on added 2 Eheim fountain with filter components inside it. At first the pond was plague with pea soup green water, but after several weeks of changing the water and putting up a screen on top, the water eventually cleared up. It is now housed with several long-finned koi, and several so so quality koi.
Total number of koi in the pond is about 21.

Total number of kois in my pond is 31, the biggest so far is the Jumbo Asagi which is about 26 inches, next in line is the Platinum Ogon about 23 inches and several others big ones ranging from 18 - 22 inches.
