| September 2009 Meeting Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2009 Time: 4:30 p.m. Location: Deb Persaud’s home—5731 Conrad Ave, Rockford, IL 61108 This will be a planning meeting for our new year 2009/2010 We will be cashing in 2 gift certificates left over from the golf outing for pizza and ice cream cake. SAMC will provide drinks and salads. If you have a folding chair that you can bring with you, please do so, as I may run short on chairs. Directions from Saint Anthony Medical Center: Exit left onto State Street and proceed to Mulford Road Turn right on Mulford (by K-mart) Go approximately 1/2 mile to Conrad Ave. There is a large brown sign on your right—Mulford Grove There is a right turn lane that leads to Conrad Ave. My home is the first condo on the left (there is an empty lot on the left side of the house.) If you get to Newberg, you have gone too far. |
| Our 9th annual golf outing was a success in spite of the weather. The golf portion of the outing did have to be canceled with golfers receiving a voucher for future golf at their convenience. Many golfers did stay for the lunch and prize drawings. Comments from those attending were positive in that we always have great food and there was time to network with fellow AORN members and others. 2010 will be our 10th annual outing. Mark your calendars for the third Friday in June 2010. As Kevin stated, " The weather can't get any worse." |
