Here is a nice little section I have devoted to various top 10s in metal music. If you want another top 10 list concoted and I see it fit, let me know and it shall be. Until then, enjoy these.
THE TOP TEN CDS EVER RECORDED
1. Metallica: Master of Puppets (the God among metal records)
2. Ozzy Osbourne: No More Tears (Surprisingly, one of Ozzy's later records makes the list)
3. Pantera: Vulgar Display of Power (Fast, furious, no excuses.....what more could you ask for?)
4. AC/DC: Back in Black (A tribute to Bon Scott becomes the greatest rock and roll record ever)
5. Guns 'N Roses: Use Your Illusion II (The final effort from Axl and co. is their best. Who knows what might have been.....)
6. Metallica: ...And Justice For All ('Tallica's follow up of Puppets didn't beat it, but it came damn close)
7. Led Zeppelin: II (Gotta get Page and Plant in here! Not a bad song on the record)
8. Megadeth: Rust in Peace (Quintessance of late 80s speed metal, check it out)
9. Black Sabbath: Paranoid (Sabbath doesn't come in until #9, but that doesn't mean this album doesn't kick ass!)
10. AC/DC: Highway to Hell (AC/DC's second album in the top 10, only Metallica has two albums on this list)
Of course, this is just a brief explanation. To see further detail of these records and much, much more, go back to the Main Page
TOP TEN BANDS OF ALL TIME
1. Metallica: You don't put two albums in the top 10 for nothing! Truly the greatest band ever.
2. Guns N' Roses: Only made a few records, but they are all amazing. What would have become?
3. Black Sabbath: The first band to really experiment with metal. They inspired pretty much any metal band out there.
4. Ozzy Osbourne: The Sabbath front man couldn't beat his band as a solo artist strictly based on impact.
5. Led Zeppelin: The greatest rock and roll band ever. I don't think a single person doesn't like this band.
6. Pantera: The heaviest band out there. Listen to them if you want some adrenaline.
7. AC/DC: The only other band to stick two albums in the top 10. Well done.
8. The Doors: Morrison and his band truly had America in a trance. Great sound, great band.
9. Pink Floyd: The weirdest band ever. Still great.10. Megadeth: Mustaine at the end of the list, 'Tallica at the top. Just another example of Dave always losing to his former band.
