Chapter Highlights
· Marianne Novelli-Bell, who was initiated in 1986, has been documenting family trees and they are now viewable on the Alumni website www.oocities.org/rockdzs.
· Kristie Rae Sirakos was selected at Theta Xi’s sweetheart in Fall 2008.
· Zeta Phi is hosted Region III day on March 28.
· Greek Sing is scheduled for April 5 from 4-8 in the MPR.
· Greek week is scheduled for Friday April 3-Thursday April 9. We will be partnered with Alpha Sigma Phi and Phi Beta Sigma.
· Senior send off is the weekend of April 25th.
· On behalf of Panhell, Allison Polesnak solely organized at dessert social, Granting Sweet Wishes, which raised $871 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
· Colonnade Tea is scheduled for April 19th from 12-4p.
· On January 19, the sisters of the Zeta Phi chapter participated in volunteer work for Martin Luther King Day. We went to various locations in New Castle and helped with penny carnivals or bingo games at nursing homes, churches, and YMCA’s.
· Junior Panhel and Panhel’s executive board currently have six Delta Zeta sisters.
· Amanda Kalkowski, Jessica McElhaney, Samantha Kelley, and Nicole DiCicco are members of Order of Omega
· Amanda Kalkowski has joined the United States Army Reserve and leaves in May 2009 for basic training.
Alumni News
· Liz Labella is engaged to be married this June.
· Ashley Leighton was deployed to Guam for two months and has safely returned home.
· Bethany Fenstermaker recently won eight first place prizes in a ball room dancing competition.
