There are many factors that go into the effect of drag in an aircraft. some would be the shape,size,velocity, inclination to flow or the conditions of the air its in. |

Drag happens when the air seperates from the surface and slows down the air craft. |

There is high presure at the bottom of the wings but less of pressure at the top. |

The shape can realy effect the drag. If the nose of a plane is round, it has less drag but if it was flat is would have alot of drag. |

For an airplane, different sizes of different parts of the plane work better for less drag. it depends on the total suface area, wing area and the frontal(front) area. |
