The first recorded date of use of arocket was in 1232. The Chinease and the Mongols were at war and the Chinease launched arrows with gun pwder in them to gp further and to explode when they hit. During the later part of the 17th century rockets became a science and not just a utility of war. Sir Isaic Newtons laws inspiered alot of people to creat rockets. In 1720 a Dutch proffeser tried expirementig with very powerful rockets. But they were not succesful. In the early 19th century rockets were once again used mostly for military reasons. The rockets were very succesfull but they were not accurate enogh. In 1898 a russian school teacher has the idea of outer space travel. From there on they stated to make modern rockets. |
