Title: Eureka 7
Genre: Sci-fi
Creator/Studio: Bones
Company: Bandai
DVD Info: 50 episodes, 1+ volumes
Summary: Seven year-old Renton Thurston has always wanted to pilot an LFO (Light-Finding Operation), a sky-surfing robot that is being used by a rebellious organization called Gekkostate against an evil totalitarian regime. When an LFO practically crashes into his grandfather's garage, Renton discovers that you should always be careful what you wish for.
The Good: The Bones studio makes beautifully colored anime, and they've done it again here. Renton is a great hero who has yet to realize his true potential.
The Bad: It's kind of cheesy, and Renton makes me think of FLCL.
Offensive Material: Mild violence and strong language.
Overall: Yes, Eureka 7 is a cheesy show, but it's the kind of cheesy that works. I recommend it.
