Title: Mobile Suit Gundam Wing

Genre: Sci-fi

DVD Info: 10 DVD’s, 49 episodes, 1 movie—Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz

Creator: Yoshiyuki Tomino/Sunrise

Distributors: Bandai

Summary: Five robot pilots have teamed up to take on a government cabal that has damaged their colonies: Quatre, Heero, Duo, Trowa, and Wu Fei. Each one pilots a different robot and has a different reason for joining the rebellion.

The Good: It’s filled with action and great characters. Can spark debate about whether this is a “just war” scenario.

The Bad: It’s the worst series to jump in on late. You must watch it from episode 1 till the end.

Offensive Material: There’s a fair amount of violence, but nothing too overblown.

Overall: This is the best Gundam series to date. If you like Star Wars, you’ll probably enjoy this series.

My Review: 3.5 Category: B (Parental Guidance)

Note: Tokyopop has published 4 manga titles: Gundam Wing, Gundam Wing: Battlefield of Pacifists, Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, and Gundam Wing: The Last Outpost. Viz also publishes stand-alone manga inspired by the series as well.
