Summary: Memoriesis a collection of three shorts:
I. "Magnetic Rose"--a group of salvagers find a wrecked spaceship. But is it really as dead as it appears?
II. "Stink Bomb"--A man suffering from a cold takes an experimental drug. But it gives him a horrifying side effect--he becomes walking death!
III. "Cannon Fodder"--a young boy dreams of fighting in a war that's gone on for many years. But it's gone on so long, people have forgotten why they're fighting.
The Good: Each story stands on its own and has an individual style. "Magnetic Rose" is tragic and spooky. "Stink Bomb" is a black comedy. And "Cannon Fodder" is cautious and slightly ironic.
The Bad: "Stink Bomb" was a bit much. But the rest were great!
Offensive Material: Graphic violence and mild language. "Magnetic Rose" has some disturbing imagery.
Overall: This is a great set of shorts. If you liked Akira or The Animatrix, check this out.
My Review: 4.0 Category: C (Caution. Not recommended for those under 12)
