Title:Reign the Conqueror
Genre:Historical Fiction/Sci-fi

TV Rating:TV-14(SV)

DVD Info:13 episodes, 4 DVD's
Summary:Reign the Conquerortells the exploits of one of ancient history's most famous conquerors, Alexander the Great. But with one twist--the story takes place within a sci-fi backdrop.
The Good:The artwork has impressive attention to detail. The concept brings together two deserve genres very well.
The Bad:It's way too short. Other than that, I have no problems with this series.
Offensive Material:Plenty of graphic violence and references to classical mythology. The story also hints at an incestuous relationship between Alexander and his mother.
Overall:This series is pretty brief, but enjoyable if you can stomach the violence.
My Review:(out of 4)3.5Age Rating:D (Dangerous. Adults Only)
Note:Tokyopop also publishes the graphic novel this is based on. Peter Chung also created the cult animation series Aeon Flux, which debuted in America as part of MTV's cult animation anthology series Liquid Television(the birthplace of Beavis and Butthead)before landing its own series. He also created a short for the Animatrix collection.
