Summary: Meet Tenchi Masaki, a boy who's got five alien girls all living in the same house with him. There's former space pirate Ryoko; her cute, innocent sister Sasami; ditzy Galaxy Police Officer Mihoshi; and genius scientist Washuu. Oh, and let's not forget that cute carrot-munching cabbit (half-cat/half rabbit) and living spaceship Ryo-Oki.
The Good: I've always loved Tenchi Muyo! and this doesn't disappoint. The artwork matches the anime and the stories are funny.
The Bad: I miss Kiyone being around. She is Mihoshi's partner in the movies, Tenchi Universe, and Tenchi In Tokyo and seems to be the only one who can handle Mihoshi and still maintain sanity. But because this is based on the OVA version, she's not here.
Offensive Material: Mild violence, language.
Overall: If you've enjoyed the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, you should pick this up. But don't do it unless you've looked at the OVAs first.
Comment: Tenchi Muyo! is available in anime from Geneon (Tenchi Muyo! OVAs, Tenchi Universe, Tenchi in Tokyo and the Tenchi movies) and FUNimation (Tenchi Muyo!: Ryo-Ohki and Tenchi Muyo! GXP.
