Summary: Forty years ago, all of Paradigm City's citizens came down with amnesia. Roger Smith, is the city's top negotiator. When negotians go awry, he speaks into his wristwatch, "Showtime!", summoning his robot, the Big O.

The Good: The artwork is very similar to the cartoon. The story provides some info that wasn't touched upon in the original.

The Bad: Vol. 1 takes too long to get to the stuff that happened in the cartoon.

Overall: If you like the anime go ahead and check out the manga.
