Genre: Fantasy/Romance

Creator: Rumiko Takahashi

Publisher: Viz, 17+ volumes

Summary: Kagome is a schoolgirl who falls into a well and arrives in feudal Japan. There, she meets a half-human/half demon named Inu-Yasha. Together, they search for the shards of the mystical Shikon jewel.

The Good: This series is quite action-packed and humorous.

The Bad: Since the anime is regularly seen on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, you may feel like you're spoiling things by reading it.

Offensive Material: The series has magic, occassionally graphic violence, mild language, and brief nudity

Overall:Inu-Yasha is a great series. I highly recommend it or the anime.

My Review:4.0 Category: B (Borderline--parental guidance suggested)P>Note: Inu-Yasha is also an anime series with well over 17 DVD volumes. Rumiko Takahashi also created Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, andRanma 1/2.
