| Music is one of my great loves in this world. The music I listen to ranges from heavy metal to country. My knowledge of the mechanics of music is poor, I just know what sounds good to me. Music is subjective thus you can't classify it no matter what anybody says. The media thus annoys me in the the way that they try and tell people that this is better than that. They cannot say this, everyone should be able to form their own opinions of music they hear. Sure we cannot escape the influences of the media on our lives but I would encourage people to be open-minded and to try and discover new music on their own which maybe doesn't much coverage in the media. The internet is great for this. Everyone cannot have the same musical tastes, if they did the world would be one dimensional and boring. I say no to communism!!! Me & Music a Condensed History The first music I seriously listen to was Michael Jackson's Bad album although the first album I likely listen to was a Boxcar Willie record or some Pipe band recording. Atter going through a pop phase (watching TOTP each week and all that) I went through a kinda Meatloaf infatuation stage. Then I discovered Aerosmith, fell in love aand lived happily ever after. Seriously I do love them and I've also really been into my Guns N'Roses for a long time its just a pity Axel turned out to be such a prick but we still have what is important, some really great kick-ass music with attitude. Nirvania to me we're a breath of fresh air to the music world and ith getting into them I also found for some reason punk bands like Green Day and the Offspring. Oh I have to mention the Wildhearts, they were so good and could have been really big but there was no fronts with them, they really didn't give a .......... From before my time I really like the Beatles a bit of Elis doesn't hurt and Led Zepplin were pretty cool like. I'll finish with a mention of Jewel who is a female singer/songwriter hailing from Alaska. I truely love Jewel's music, especially when its raw, her talent shines through and her lyrics are top-notch. I can relate to many of them in my own little way, help me through stuff like.
