	My BIO?.....(Like anybody CARES)......But I'm a team player so what the heck, here goes it.....um, I guess one thing people ask me often at gigs is., how I got my start playing drums?  Well, my older brother Mark Mauer, is an amazing rock n' roll drummer!  The guy has an internal metronome I swear, (he's a hard hitter too).  Anyway, for as long as I can remember he was always jam'n in our basement on some sort of percussion apparatus, everything from a practice pad, to a lone snare, to a fully equipped kit.  Proper warm-ups, rudiments, and practicing with steele pipes to build chops were just standard ingredients to his everyday practice sessions........I paid attention.      I was about twelve when I joined my first band, and with the exception of taking time off when our girls were little, I've pretty much always been involved with playing drums.  I've learned so much from the gifted musicians I've played with over the years, as a matter of fact, I think this particular group of seasoned performers (Billy, Danny, Dickey and my precious hubby Jim) has taught me some of the MOST valuable life-lessons of all....for example: I now officially know ALL the swear words (some I never previously knew existed) AND, if truth be known.....I can burp the alphabet now too.  Yep, I'm a better person for having known these fine gentlemen!      No but seriously, I'm having a blast with this band, its all for fun, and its all about what we love to do most......drink beer!  NO WAIT, that's NOT what I meant,........play music, yeah, that's it.....play music!
