 GO

GO MAD, is an effort to gather the community in improvement efforts.  Individuals, Businesses and civic organizations are asked to play a role.  One day per week, for up to 4 hours a project will take place.  The idea is to have community volunteers and interests work on these projects.  The business community can provide a key role, by providing volunteers, hosting a meeting, or providing materials.

              TOGETHER!!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:  Once a week (usually Sat. or Sun.) some MAD Event will be held.

Projects to Improve the Community - 1 day a week, (alternating Saturdays & Sundays) volunteers will gather to undertake a specific effort.

Information or Education on Programs Within the Community - On weeks that MAD Projects aren't going on, meetings on local programs will be offered: how to form a neighborhood watch, gang education, or something of the like will be held.

We are in the process of identifying needs for projects and information.
PLEASE SHARE IDEAS WITH US!!!. (email link)
The MAD kickoff is expected to take place in February 2004.
A calendar of efforts & meeting locations will be posted here.
