The railway measures a very compact 2.5 x 6.5m and was built over a six month period during the first half of 2002.

The locos and wagons are all hand built 1:24 scale versions of New Zealand Railway prototypes The rails are 45mm apart and conduct power which the locos pick up, the same as an indoor model railway. This size of track is available commercially worldwide and is known as 'G' scale.

In Sept 2003 the railway was carefully dismantled for relocation to our new home. Look for details of the new railway in 2004.
