2004 MOTORCYCLE TRIP
We rode 6,087 miles in 17 days and saw parts of 12 states.  We camped 10 of the 16 nights we were gone, mostly in State Parks or National Forest campgrounds.  We saw beautiful, amazing things almost every day, but the things that stand out are Craters of the Moon National Monument, Mt. St. Helens National Monument, Crater Lake National Park, Redwoods National and State Parks, The Jetty Fishery, the fertile farmlands of Idaho and Oregon, and the California coast on Highway 1.  We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary in Kingman, AZ.

Wyatt and Billy in the movie "Easy Rider" went "looking for America but couldn't find it anywhere".  Well, they looked in the wrong place then, because I think we found it.
