NEW ORLEANS TRIP |
We rode our motorcycles with our friends Jim and Jana Black to New Orleans, LA May 8-12, 2003. We rode to Lake Charles, LA the first day, and spent the second day riding through the bayous of southern LA near the Gulf of Mexico. We saw lots of alligators and other wildlife. We spent two days and three nights in New Orleans in the French Quarter and we really saw some wild life there! We took a swamp tour and a tour of the "Cities of the Dead" (some of the old cemeteries where they buried people above ground). We spent a lot of time just walking around the French Quarter experiencing the atmosphere and trying different places to eat, drink, and listen to music. We had a wonderful trip.
