These are pictures of our motorcycle trip from July 2001
Enjoying the Silver Dollar Saloon in Leadville, CO
We left on a Saturday morning in the rain, and then had wonderful weather most of the rest of the trip.  We rode 5200 miles over 16 days.  Our route was through Amarillo to Clayton, NM, on to Raton, up to Walsenburg, then west into the mountains of CO, through Leadville, Steamboat Springs, west to Vernal, UT, then north to Jackson, WY and the national parks there.  We spent the 4th of July night in Bozeman, MT, then went to Missoula, up to Glacier Nat'l Park, made a loop into Canada, then back down to Coeur d' Alene, ID, then back east to Missoula, and south and east back toward Jackson.  We went southeast from the Jackson area to Rawlins, WY, then south and east to Fort Collins, CO.  We then jogged west through Rocky Mt. Nat'l Park and back south through Leadville and east to Pueblo and Lamar, CO, then south to Boise City, OK, and back to Johnston County.  We had one wreck, 3 breakdowns, and a couple bad rainstorms, but we rode the bikes the whole way and everyone made it home safe and sound....it was a great trip with great friends!!
